Egyptian authorities detain journalist Durra Gambo at Cairo Airport 

Informed sources reported that security officials at Cairo International Airport detained journalist Durra Gambo in the airport’s holding area since Friday, effectively preventing her from entering Egypt despite having obtained prior security clearance. 

The sources further stated that upon her arrival at the airport, authorities informed the journalist that she was included on a list of individuals banned from entering the country and that she would be deported, without providing any explanation for the decision.
