The PM of the Peace Govt appoints Ministers, Undersecretaries, and Directors

The Prime Minister of the Peace Government, Mohamed Hassan El-Ta’aishi announced today, Tuesday, the appointment of eight new ministers to the Government of Peace and Unity. The aforementioned appointments cover the Ministries of Justice, Information, Decentralized Governance, Finance, Animal Resources and Fisheries, Transport, Roads and Bridges, Urban Planning and Development, and Social Development.

Furthermore, the decree named Undersecretaries as well as Directors-General for the ministries of the Government of Peace and Unity.

The Cabinet Issues Decrees Appointing Ministers, Undersecretaries, and Directors-General in the Government of Peace

Prime Minister Mohamed Hassan Al-Ta’aishi, acting in accordance with Article (73), Paragraphs (a) and (b) of the 2025 Transitional Constitution of the Republic of Sudan, issued the following decree:

First: Decrees Appointing Ministers:

  • Osama Hussein Wahbi Mohamed Saeed, as Minister of Justice.
  • Sila Musa Kenji Tiko, as Minister of Decentralized Governance.
  • Carlo John Kuku Al-Nour, as Minister of Finance and Economic Planning.
  • Hafiz Ibrahim Abdel-Nabi, as Minister of Animal Resources and Fisheries.
  • Khalid Aseel Ahmed Mohamed, as Minister of Transport, Roads, and Bridges.
  • Hafsa Idris Al-Maren Attiyah, as Minister of Planning and Urban Development.
  • Zuhair Mohammadi Bashar, as Minister of Social Development.
  • Khalid Ahmed Dana Brima, as Minister of Information.

Second: Decisions to Appoint Undersecretaries:

  • Musa Khaddam Mohamed Abdel-Karim, as Undersecretary of the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs.
  • Musa Jabr Mahmoud Hammad, as Undersecretary of the Ministry of Decentralized Governance.
  • Mohamed Ahmed Hammad Mohamed, as Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil and Energy.
  • Al-Amin Othman Falati Kaju, as Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health.

Third: Decisions to Appoint Directors-General of the Following Institutions:

  • Gen. Bashir Adam Issa, is appointed Director General of the Federal Police.
  • Haroun Mahmoud Medikhair is appointed Director General of Taxes.
  • Hassan Mudeir Kannira Kurtekila is appointed Director of the Civil Service Bureau.
  • Osama Ahmed Mustafa Mohamed is appointed Director General of New Sudan News Agency.

All State Agencies and relevant authorities are to take the necessary measures to ensure the immediate and effective implementation of this Decree.
