Seven civilians killed in SAF bombing of Balila Market
The Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N) faction led by Abdelaziz Al-Hilu accused the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) of bombing the area of Balila in Kurmuk, the Blue Nile/New Funj region, using a Turkish-made Akinci drone. The aforementioned attack targeted Balila Market as well as its surrounding areas.
Furthermore, the Movement stated that the airstrike claimed the lives of more than seven civilians and left several others wounded, as the attack burned the Market of Balila and nearby houses to cinders.
