The Egyptian Army Continues its Incursion and Occupies New Sudanese Territory

Recently, the Egyptian Army continued its incursion into Sudanese territory in Eastern Sudan, occupying more land after expelling the Sudanese artisanal gold miners as they  were peacefully working on their land. The aforementioned development was preceded by a number of airstrikes launched by the Egyptian Army against the miners, which, tragically, claimed the innocent lives of hundreds and wounded others, whilst the de facto military-led government in Port Sudan remained silent.

For their part, miners in the North Valley region stated that the Egyptian Army deployed additional ground troops in armored and combat vehicles, occupying more Sudanese territory and expelling the miners. They added that hundreds of miners have been missing since last Tuesday due to the intense airstrikes carried out by the Egyptian Army on Jebel Ayqad, Jebel al-Ahmar, and Ansari areas, as well as several mines.
