Tasis condemns the killing of 12 civilians in a restaurant and passenger bus in South Darfur

The Sudan Founding Alliance (Tasis) condemned on Monday the most recent act of targeting carried out by the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) of Kabam Market in South Darfur state with a drone, which resulted in the tragic death of (12 innocent civilians) in a restaurant and a passenger bus in the city’s market.
In a statement issued today, the Alliance shared that the incident resulted in the death of (12 innocent civilians) whilst dozens were wounded. The Founding Alliance added that the attack with three missiles on KabamMarket constitutes a blatant violation of International Humanitarian Law as well as all human values and norms.
Furthermore, the Alliance affirmed that the act of deliberate targeting of innocent civilians is part of a systematic policy pursued by the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood regime and its army to annihilate specific population groups, terrorize the population, and inflict the greatest possible number of casualties amongst civilians. For it represents a new link in a plot to fuel tribal conflicts and expand the scope of violence and chaos in areas experiencing social tensions, with the aim of prolonging the war and rendering defenselesscivilians into fuel for its destructive projects.
