SNOHR exposes violations committed by the Joint Forces militia in the Northern state

The Sudanese National Observatory for Human Rights (SNOHR) expressed deep concern in regards to the continued violations committed by the Joint Forces militia -loyal to the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF).

Furthermore, photos clearly document the occurrence of arbitrary arrest campaigns and forced detentions of civilians, in a manner that serves to highlight the degrading treatment numerous detainees have been subjected to, which included, but wasn’t limited to; assault and having their heads shaved. Naturally, the aforementioned practices being carried out in the Northern state constitute blatant violations of human rights and human dignity.
