El Savanna refutes narratives of opening prisons and firing the first shot in the April War

Unexpectedly, the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) defector, Ali Rizqallah, known as “El-Savanna,” provided a rather important testimony regarding the narratives surrounding the April War.
El-Savanna, who was detained in Kober Central Prison in Khartoum North (Bahri) when the war broke out, stated that the Police Forces were the party responsible for opening the gates of Kober Prison for the prisoners, contrary to the narrative propagated by the Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, the Port Sudan Authorities, and the warmongers since (April 2023), claiming that the (RSF) released the prisoners.
Speaking to (Al-Arabiya), El-Savanna confirmed that the Police Forces released the prisoners from Kober Prison, despite the Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated presenter, Nizar Bagdawi’s desperate attempts to frame the question for El-Savanna, in a manner that boldly implies that the (RSF) were responsible for releasing the prisoners when the war broke out.
In addition, El-Savanna’s remarks served to refute the circulated narrative about who fired the first shot in the April war, asserting that Rapid Support Forces’ officers and soldiers were unaware of any military movements until the morning of April 15th, 2023, and, in turn, that they were effectively blindsided by the outbreak of war, thus confirming that the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Islamic Movement were -in fact- the parties responsible for igniting the ongoing war in Sudan.
