El Savanna: Hemedti fought alongside his soldiers in front of the Military’s General Command HQ

Recently, a defected officer from the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) revealed that the Commander of the (RSF), Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo (Hemedti), personally participated in the battles raging in front of the Military’s General Command headquarters in Khartoum, fighting alongside his soldiers on the front lines.
The officer went on to add that Hemedti was wounded during the clashes, according to his account, without specifying the nature of the injury.
Naturally, Hemedti’s appearance on the battlefield raises numerous questions about the nature of his direct participation. Observers believe there are two main scenarios that could explain:
The first scenario: reflects exceptional courage on Lt. Gen. Daglo’s part, as he chose to personally lead by example and be present with his soldiers on the ground instead of merely planning from behind the scenes.
The second scenario: indicates insufficient preparation or that he was surprised by the attack on his forces on the morning of April 15th, as Hemedti was unaware of the outbreak of war, effectively placing him on the front lines from the very beginning.
Furthermore, observers believe that El-Savanna’s statement highlights Hemedti’scourage, and at the same time places significant emphasis on the fact that he wasn’t responsible for starting the ongoing war in Sudan and, in turn, he wasn’t fully prepared to confront it initially.
