RSF arrests suspects in El Fasher incidents.. Amongst whom is Abu Lulu

 On Thursday night, the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) arrested several individuals accused of committing violations that occurred following the liberation of El-Fasher in North Darfur, most prominently of whom is (Abu Lulu).

In a statement, the Rapid Support Forces shared that, in accordance with the directives of the leadership and in adherence to the law, the rules of conduct and military discipline during war, their forces arrested a number of individuals accused of the committing abuses that accompanied the liberation of El-Fasher, most notably of whom is Abu Lulu. Furthermore, the relevant legal committees have begun to put forth efforts in investigating them, in preparation for bringing them to justice.

In implementation of the leadership’s directives, and in adherence to the law, rules of conduct, and military discipline during wartime, our forces have arrested a number of individuals accused of violations that occurred during the liberation of the city of Al-Fashir foremost among them, a man known as (Abu Lu’lu’ah). Specialized legal committees have begun investigating them in preparation for bringing them to justice.

These measures are being taken to prevent any violations that infringe upon human dignity, contravene moral values, or conflict with international conventions, foremost among them the Geneva Conventions. Our forces affirm their full responsibility in upholding true justice, without any propagandistic motives or alignment with the exaggeration and politicization campaigns orchestrated by the defeated terrorist Islamic Movement’s media outlets and platforms, which seek to exploit such incidents to advance their malicious agendas and conceal their historic failures.

Our forces reaffirm their complete commitment to upholding the rule of law and holding accountable anyone proven to be involved in any violations or abuses no matter how limited or individual in nature emphasizing that no one is above the law.
