A recording reveals the utter corruption of the State
A recording between Mohammed Mahmoud Othman, the son-in-law of the Assistant Army Commander, Lt. Gen. Shams al-Din Kabbashi, and the son of the Intelligence Director, Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal “Mujahid,” revealed widespread corruption operations in State resources and bribes that officials receive to pass commercial deals and export gold and resources.
The corruption network led by Army Commander-in-Chief, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and all the leaders of military and civilian institutions is controlled by al-Kabbashi’s son-in-law, “Mohammed Mahmoud Othman.”
From the recording, it is made rather clear that the Director of the Intelligence Service received a bribe amounting to (3) million dirhams in order to provide services to Mohammed Mahmoud Othman, and improve his relations with the Egyptian government.
The Director of the Intelligence Service, Ahmed Ibrahim Ali Mufaddal, plays the role of concluding deals, while his son “Mujahid” receives the bribes.
The recording also reveals that the funds of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company, during the era of Mubarak Ardol, didn’t go to the State treasury, and were received by Mohammed Mahmoud Othman, to be divided between him, the Intelligence Director, “Mufaddal,” along with Al-Burhan, Al-Kabbashi, and some Military Intelligence leaders. Meaning that the Army’s investments were under the control of Mohammed Mahmoud Othman as well.
The son of the Intelligence Director vowed to implement the instructions of the corruption network official, Mohammed Mahmoud Othman, and to improve his relations among all those responsible for economic institutions.
Investigative journalist Mujahid Bushra previously published a recording of the head of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company, Mubarak Ardol, with the so-called Mohammed Mahmoud Othman, during which he explained the supply of mineral funds to leaders from the Armed Forces and Intelligence Service. Ardol had actually acknowledged the authenticity of the recording.
Mujahid indicated that he will continue to reveal the secrets of corruption in the State, announcing that the next recording is dedicated to the corruption in the “Bank of Sudan”, and whoever is taking millions of dollars for their benefit ?
