A merchant, who preferred to remain anonymous, told (Assayha) that said armed robberies are being carried out by military personnel. He added that the perpetrators carry Kalashnikov rifles and other heavy weapons, wear the Sudanese Armed Forces\u2019 uniforms, and seize goods from merchants at gunpoint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He further mentioned an incident that occurred in the past two days -in which military personnel stormed shops and looted their contents at gunpoint.
