He went on to explain that the meetings witnessed broad consensus in regards to the importance of intensifying collective efforts to de-escalate the conflict and silence the guns, emphasizing the continued coordination amongst key international parties to support political settlement efforts and the humanitarian response. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In another statement, Macron welcomed the joint meeting in Addis Ababa, including representatives and diplomats from France, Germany, Italy, and Canada, along with numerous ambassadors as well as special envoys involved in the Sudanese file. He emphasized that the aforementioned are part of efforts aimed at reinforcing the international pressure to end the war and protect civilians. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
