According to sources, the aforementioned campaigns have resulted in the detention of more than (40,000 Sudanese nationals).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"s4\">Furthermore, the campaign has led to the closure of Sudanese schools and the shutdown of businesses as well as cafes, particularly in Faisal,&nbsp;Badr, and the Greater Cairo districts. Naturally, such circumstances has served to create a climate of anxiety and fear amongst the refugees, with many forced to remain indoors for fear of deportation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"s4\">Asim&nbsp;Ahmed, the Cultural Attach\u00e9 at the Sudanese Embassy in Cairo, stated that Egyptian Police raided several schools in Aswan, Alexandria, and&nbsp;Badr, leading to their closure. He confirmed that the Embassy has been in contact with the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in an effort to find solutions, and assured the public that the Sudanese Certificate examinations will be held as scheduled on April 13th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"s4\">In which context, the \u201cSudanese Community in Egypt\u201d platform advised those who are unable to legalize their status to return voluntarily to Sudan, stressing the importance of respecting the laws of countries or making a decision that preserves one\u2019s dignity.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Sudanese refugee Community in Egypt has been brought to a near standstill following security campaigns launched by the Egyptian Authorities under the pretext of Residency Law violations.
