Two days ago, the Anti-Terrorism Court in Port Sudan held the first session of a large-scale trial involving (201 defendants), amongst whom is the former Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok, as a significant number of defendants were tried in absentia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In an interview with (France 24), Hamdokexplained that the trial itself doesn’t constitute a major concern for him, indicating that the Alliance’s focus is pivoted towards alleviating the suffering of the Sudanese people through the Alliance\u2019s vision, which is based on three main pillars: A ceasefire, the provision of humanitarian aid, and advancing the political process. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
