Furthermore, by rejecting the US Peace Plan for Sudan, and his repeated refusal to accept a ceasefire, he is consistently demonstrating obstructive&nbsp;behavior. Such&nbsp;behavior&nbsp;ought to be condemned, as the Sudanese people continue to bear the brunt of this civil war.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She added, \u201cThe United Nations is now describing the current situation as one of the worst humanitarian tragedies in modern history, where aid access is being weaponised, and civilians are being starved by design.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Minister of State emphasized that \u201cThe UAE remains gravely concerned by the conduct of both parties to the conflict, as their military escalation and continued refusal to facilitate humanitarian access are propelling Sudan to the brink of collapse. Hence, the UAE calls for an immediate and unconditional ceasefire to end this civil war.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), \u201cThe UAE welcomes the engagement of Donald Trump, President of the United States, to prevent Sudan from sliding further into extremism and fragmentation, and to avert the worsening of the humanitarian catastrophe.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Emirati Minister concluded by saying, \u201cA unified regional and international effort is essential to ending the atrocities committed against civilians.
