In his address on the current political situation, the Prime Minister explained that these victories represent a new phase in the nation-building process. He reiterated the government\u2019s commitment to the unity of Sudan, the establishment of a secular, democratic, and decentralized system, and the pursuit of a new, professional national army that reflects national diversity in addition to serving the people, not an ideology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Furthermore, El-Ta’aishi emphasized that the war was imposed by the terrorist Islamic Movement’s Army, which continues to intransigently reject all peace initiatives. He went on to pledge to continue defending the homeland until its entire territory is liberated from terrorism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Regarding the events in El-Fasher, the Prime Minister acknowledged that \u201cindividual transgressions\u201d had occurred, emphasizing that they did not reflect the policy of the Founding Government, for those responsible would be held legally accountable, in accordance with human rights principles and International Humanitarian Law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
