As they are wanted on the same charges for crimes committed more than (20 years) ago in Darfur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"s9\">For his part,&nbsp;Kushayb&nbsp;voluntarily surrendered to the Court in (2020), after being charged with war crimes and genocide in Darfur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"s9\">The International Criminal Court is scheduled to determine&nbsp;Kushayb&#8217;s&nbsp;sentence on a later date, during a new round of hearings.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;The International Criminal Court (ICC) convicted Ali Mohammed Ali Abdel-Rahman, known as &#8220;Ali Kushayb,&#8221; on Monday on (27) counts of crimes against humanity and war crimes, including rape, murder, and persecution.
