The Central Committee revealed information regarding the authorities’ continued systematic violations and targeting of Canabi communities in Al-Jazeera and Khartoum states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Committee indicated that the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and its allied brigades -most notably of which are: the Sudan Shield Force, Special Tasks Forces, and the terrorist-oriented Al-Baraa Islamic Brigades; are targeting the aforementioned communities based on ethnicity and color.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the Central Committee the Sudanese Army continues to commit serious violations against the marginalized people of Central Sudan, amidst the suspicious silence of the de facto government in Port Sudan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“On June 19th, 2025, the authorities of Al-Jazeera state issued a decision granting a 72-hour deadline for the demolishment of residences and expulsion of the Canabiresidents. In stark repetition of the scenario that took place prior in Khartoum state, which witnessed the demolition and displacement of Al-Khairat village, East of the Nile (ShargAlneel) on May 27th, and the neighborhood of Abu Karshula in Samrab, Bahri locality, on June 15th,” according to the Central Committee’s statement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, the statement warned the authorities of Al-Jazeera state against continuing to target the Canabi residents, as they’ve remained silent -to date- about the violations of their basic human rights, which have been historically neglected in the Sudanese State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Furthermore, the Central Committee of the Canabi Congress held the de facto government in Port Sudan fully responsible for the systematic attacks carried out against these communities, which have suffered through the bitterness of marginalization and exclusion for decades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The statement urgently called on all international, regional, and local human rights organizations to pressure the Sudanese government to halt the forced displacement operations and racial targeting based on race and color that the Canabi communities in Central Sudan are subjected to constantly.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
