The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) condemned the horrific human rights crimes committed by members of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and allied Armed Movements, known as the “Joint Force,” against dozens of civilians in the town of Al-Khawi, West Kordofan.<\/p>\n
The Rapid Support Forces condemned the deliberate killing, slaughter, and torture of dozens of civilians by the Sudanese Army and its militias, including the brutal beheading and mutilation of their bodies, in a crime, described in the statement as a systematic “racial genocide” targeting innocent civilians.<\/p>\n
In their statement, the Rapid Support Forces shared that documented testimonies and video clips revealed that the aforementioned crimes were planned in direct coordination with the Sudanese Army Command, in an attempt to subjugate and terrorize local communities on ethnic and political grounds.<\/p>\n

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) strongly condemn the heinous crimes and flagrant violations of human rights committed by the so-called \u201cJoint Force,\u201d comprising of militias from mercenary armed movements and the terrorist brigades allied with the coup-led Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) under the command of Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan. The perpetrators launched a bloody attack on Al-Khoei area in West Kordofan State on Sunday.<\/p>\n
These militias have carried out a barbaric criminal campaign marked by a horrific level of violence and sadism. They deliberately slaughtered dozens of civilians after subjecting them to brutal torture. Other barbaric acts included beheadings and desecration of the bodies. The attack constitutes a systematic act of genocide targeting innocent citizens. Documented testimonies and video evidence indicate prior coordination and planning of these atrocities in direct collaboration with the SAF command, in an effort to subjugate and terrorize the communities along ethnic and political lines.<\/p>\n
We hold the SAF and its allied militias fully responsible for these massacres. We call upon the international community and human rights organizations to document and condemn these atrocities. We also call upon the free media outlets to expose these crimes and the awaken public opinion.<\/p>\n
The ongoing violations carried out by the Joint Force confirm beyond any doubt that what is happening in Western Kordofan and other regions of Sudan constitutes a campaign of ethnic cleansing and genocide.<\/p>\n
