For the third consecutive day, drones targeted military bases in the eastern Sudanese city of Port Sudan. On Wednesday, the drones targeted the city’s Flamingo Naval Base and the Military Hospital.<\/p>\n
The drone attacks continued for the third day in the city, which the Sudanese Army Commander-in-Chief, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan had chosen as a refuge after escaping a siege that lasted for more than a year inside the Military’s General Command Headquarters in Central Khartoum.<\/p>\n
The strikes, which were described as highly accurate in destroying their targets, didn’t result in any civilian casualties.<\/p>\n
Eyewitnesses from Port Sudan told (Assayha) that the Army’s anti-aircraft missiles at the Flamingo Naval Base failed to intercept the violent drone strikes. They added, “Successive explosions occurred at the naval base, and then we heard the sounds of anti-aircraft missiles.”<\/p>\n
Recently, drone attacks on Sudanese Military Bases and Headquarters have escalated, with no group claiming responsibility for the latest military operations.
