This indicates a resurgence in the phenomenon of customer balance withdrawals since the beginning of the ongoing war.<\/p>\n<p>One citizen told (Assayha) that (5 million) pounds were withdrawn from his account, while another shared that, &#8220;More than (120,000) pounds were withdrawn from me.&#8221; Activists on social media circulated information regarding such incidents of monetary withdrawals from customer accounts via the (Bankak) app.<\/p>\n<p>Incidents of customer balances being withdrawn without notification have continued since the beginning of the war, with no clear justification from the Bank of Khartoum, which owns the most popular money transfer app, (Bankak).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A number of citizens stated they were taken by surprise upon learning that significant amounts of money had been withdrawn from their bank accounts via the (Bankak) app without their knowledge or authorization.
