Idris stated that Minnawi attempted to strike a deal with the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) through the aforementioned meeting, to declare his support for them in the ongoing war.<\/p>\n<p>He added, in an interview with Al-Jazeera, that Minnawi had recently traveled to the French capital, Paris, and met with one of the Rapid Support Forces leaders there. The former spoke with 1st Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo and his second-in-command, Lt. Gen.
