The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) announced on Wednesday that they had seized control of El-‘Atrun, an area -oasis- located in Al-Malha locality, North Darfur state, following battles with the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Joint Force affiliated with the Armed Movements.<\/p>\n
A statement issued by the Rapid Support Forces shared that the battle resulted in “inflicting substantial losses on the enemy, both in personnel and equipment.” In addition, the Forces the succeeded in capturing large quantities of war materiel and military hardware.<\/p>\n

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have secured yet another significant victory on the desert axis, as they established full control over the Al-Ataroon area on Wednesday. This triumph follows a series of heroic battles marked by successful and high-precision military operations.<\/p>\n
Our forces inflicted substantial losses on the enemy, both in personnel and equipment, and succeeded in capturing large quantities of war materiel and military hardware previously held by the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and their allied Islamic Movement and mercenary movements.<\/p>\n
The Rapid Support Forces affirm that the ongoing field advances are part of a broader operation aimed at reclaiming full control over the nation\u2019s territory and liberating it from the grip of the SAF operating under the terrorist battalions, leading to the establishment of a Sudan where citizens can live in security and peace, the full sovereignty of the Sudanese people is restored, and the nation is rebuilt on new, just, and equitable foundations.<\/p>\n
