On Thursday, armed individuals in Sudanese Army uniforms slaughtered a woman named (Sittana Mahmoud) on the side of the road in the Taiba al-Ahamda neighborhood after forcibly taking her from her home on charges of collaborating with the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).<\/p>\n

A reliable source reported that Army personnel and civilian militias affiliated with the Islamic Movement entered the homes of citizens in various neighborhoods in the capital, Khartoum, that was -until recently- under the control of the Rapid Support Forces, the Army and militia members arrested everyone present at the homes they invaded forcibly, accusing the civilians of collaborating with the Rapid Support Forces.<\/p>\n

A source from the Kafouri neighborhood revealed that all tea-sellers and food vendors in the Kafouri, Burri, as well as Al-Manshiyya neighborhoods had been subjected to enforced disappearance, which indicates they were arrested and killed en masse.<\/p>\n

Moreover, in Al-Jerif neighborhood, pro-army artist, Nada al-Qalaa appeared with a list of fifty civilian names, whom she proceeded to urge the Sudanese Army to arrest and kill on grounds of collaborating with the Rapid Support Forces.<\/p>\n

A wide range of human rights organizations and activists condemned the documted scene of a young man suffering from a broken bone being dragged to the ground by Sudanese Army soldiers who then shot and slaughtered him, amidst chants of “Allahu Akbar” (God is Great).<\/p>\n

Before the Sudanese Army regained control of Khartoum, hundreds of thousands of residents, who had preferred to remain in their homes under the control of the Rapid Support Forces, began fleeing the city toward Omdurman and from there to Darfur and Kordofan, fearful of the horrific violations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
