The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) announced today, Thursday, the liberation of Al-Malha in North Darfur following battles that lasted for more than two months. The Rapid Support Forces shared that they inflicted heavy losses on the Armed Movements in terms of equipment and lives, seizing (185) combat vehicles with full military equipment, and killing more than (380) members of the Armed Movements and Sudanese Army personnel.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) wrote a new chapter of heroism and sacrifice, securing a decisive victory over the hired mercenaries of the armed movements. They successfully liberated Al-Malha area in North Darfur State, including the region\u2019s main mercenary camp, and seized large quantities of combat vehicles, weapons, and ammunition that had been used to threaten the security of innocent citizens.<\/p>\n
This monumental victory came after intense confrontations in which the brave warriors of our heroic forces demonstrated unparalleled efficiency and courage. Their exceptional skill enabled them to liberate the region from the grip of mercenaries who had been using it as a base to undermine security and stability. The fearless RSF soldiers successfully encircled the enemy, delivering devastating blows that led to their complete collapse and retreat from the battlefield, leaving behind more than 380 dead.<\/p>\n
The liberation of Al-Malha region and the crushing defeat of the mercenary movements have effectively thwarted their attempts to execute the Islamic Movement’s intelligence agenda, which aims to escalate the war and carry out sabotage operations in the region.<\/p>\n
The brave RSF men remain steadfast in their determination to end this war in favor of the Sudanese people, fulfilling their aspirations for freedom, justice, and the establishment of a new and equitable Sudan. We assure our people in North Darfur State that our forces will remain vigilant, ensuring the security of the region and the protection of civilians, while preventing any party from threatening peace and stability.<\/p>\n
