Reliable reports indicated that Al-Baraa Ibn Malik militia -affiliated with the Islamic Movement and allied with the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), is receiving direct training from the Iranian \u201cIslamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).\u201d The aforementioned training focuses in particular on operating drones, which have become a very influential aspect in the course of the ongoing battles in Sudan, highlighting Iran’s growing role in the conflict.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In a related context, videos circulated on social media platforms documented a Sudanese Army officer admitting that Al-Baraa Ibn Malik fighters are capable of operating drones. This admission reflects the increasing Iranian interference in Sudanese military affairs, and indicates that Iranian support is no longer limited to conventional weapons, but also extends to include modern technologies that enhance the capabilities of this militia.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Recently, it was significant enough to be noticeable, that the Sudanese Army has been using incendiary weapons in bombing various regions, including Khartoum and Darfur. This has raised questions in regards to the possibility that these weapons are of Iranian manufacture, reinforcing the hypothesis of direct Iranian military support.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
