The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) refuted the content of a report issued by (Human Rights Watch) Organization, in which the latter alleges that fighters -(HRW) claimed are affiliated with (RSF)- committed crimes of rape and sexual slavery against girls and women.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In its statement, the Rapid Support Forces explained that, ironically, the Organization specified in its report that the alleged violations occurred in South Kordofan, where the Rapid Support Forces has no operational presence or command structures in the Nuba Mountains region.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The statement by the Rapid Support Forces’ official Spokesperson demanded that the organization retract its false report and issue a public apology for disseminating falsehoods that align with the propaganda objectives of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), the remnants of the former regime, and their allied militias.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) categorically rejects and strongly condemns the baseless, inflammatory, and grossly irresponsible allegations recently leveled by Human Rights Watch. The claims that individuals purportedly associated with the RSF have committed egregious crimes, including rape and sexual slavery of women and girls, are entirely unfounded and represent a deliberate attack on the integrity, professionalism, and unwavering commitment of the RSF to uphold human rights and protect the dignity of all Sudanese people.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The allegations, which center on regions such as South Kordofan and the Nuba Mountains, lack credibility and evidence. Notably, the RSF has no operational presence or command structures in these areas. Human Rights Watch must immediately retract this deeply flawed and misleading report and issue a public apology for disseminating falsehoods that align with the propaganda objectives of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), the remnants of the corrupt former regime, and their allied militias linked to the extremist Islamic Movement.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The report in question is emblematic of a glaring failure to adhere to basic investigative principles. It raises several critical concerns:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

1. Verification of Claims: What rigorous methods, if any, were employed to substantiate these allegations?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

2. Lack of Evidence: Where is the credible evidence that underpins these grave accusations?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

3. Bias and Credibility: The report\u2019s heavy reliance on unverified accounts and questionable sources demonstrates a troubling disregard for neutrality, professionalism, and truth.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Instead of pursuing justice, Human Rights Watch has opted to amplify baseless narratives that serve political agendas, perpetuating misinformation and exacerbating conflict.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We firmly reject these spurious allegations, as they lack any basis in objective reality:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

1. Operational Scope: The Habila area, referenced in the report, is predominantly inhabited by the families of RSF personnel and local communities. Moreover, the RSF has no military command or presence in South Kordofan, invalidating the allegations entirely.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

2. Controlled Territories: The RSF effectively controls over 70 percent of Sudan\u2019s territory, including Khartoum. In none of these areas has credible evidence of atrocities emerged to support the allegations contained in the report.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

3. Focus of Allegations: Suspiciously, these allegations center on areas under the control of the Sudan People\u2019s Liberation Movement (SPLM), with which the RSF has no active military engagements. This raises serious questions about the motives and sources behind the report.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It is deeply regrettable that a reputable international organization like Human Rights Watch has allowed itself to be co-opted into spreading politically motivated propaganda. Such conduct not only undermines its credibility but also hinders genuine efforts toward justice, peace, and reconciliation in Sudan.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The RSF reaffirms its unwavering commitment to the rule of law, accountability, and the protection of human rights. Our zero-tolerance policy for misconduct ensures that any verified violations by our personnel are met with strict accountability measures. We welcome impartial and evidence-based investigations conducted with integrity, but we categorically reject unsubstantiated accusations aimed at tarnishing our reputation.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We call on Human Rights Watch and similar organizations to uphold the highest standards of diligence, neutrality, and professionalism in their investigative efforts. Sensationalist narratives based on unfounded claims serve only to inflame tensions, derail progress, and undermine the pursuit of truth and justice.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The RSF remains steadfast in its mission to uphold justice, truth, and democracy, and to ensure the well-being of all Sudanese people. We will not be deterred by baseless attacks and will continue to act with transparency and honor in defense of our principles and our nation.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
