The Official Spokesperson for the Negotiating Delegation of the Rapid Support Forces, Mohammed Al-Mukhtar, announced yesterday, Monday, that the Army’s warplanes claimed the lives of (2873) citizens during October and the current month of November in various locations across the country.<\/p>\n

Al-Mukhtar stated, in a press conference held by the Rapid Support Forces in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, that the warplanes targeted populated areas, which led to the destruction of (4321) homes during October and the current month of November as well.<\/p>\n

He revealed that (2928) people were wounded as a result of the ongoing warplanes’ airstrikes launched on various areas in Darfur, Kordofan, Al-Jazeera, and the capital, Khartoum.<\/p>\n

He pointed out that the Army’s warplanes “Use internationally banned toxic bombs”, which caused a large number of casualties and widespread destruction of the infrastructure, including electricity and water stations.<\/p>\n

Mohammed Al-Mukhtar explained that the reason behind the migration of citizens from the areas controlled by the Rapid Support Forces in Al-Jazeera stare; is the continuous airstrikes launched by the Sudanese Army’s warplanes.<\/p>\n

Since last August, warplanes have intensified their air sorties on populated areas across the country, killing and wounding large numbers of civilians. This has prompted human rights organizations, political parties, and local leaders to condemn and denounce the airstrikes, amid an urgent demand to implement an air embargo -on warplanes- over the country.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
