He added in a tweet on the (X) platform that: &#8220;(25) million Sudanese overall need emergency humanitarian assistance.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He stated that last month the Sudanese Humanitarian Aid Commission, which operates under the command of the Sudanese Army, only allowed (10%) of humanitarian supplies in Port Sudan to reach the people in desperate need of food and medicine. He accused the authorities of obstructing or delaying the arrival of (90%) of emergency relief supplies.<\/p>\n<p>The Humanitarian Aid Commissioner in Sudan, Mohamed Adam, at the behest of the Army leadership, refuses to allow international humanitarian aid to reach those in need in all parts of Sudan.<\/p>\n<p>Adam has held the position of Commissioner since the era of ousted President Omar Al-Bashir without interruption except during the years of Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdok&#8217;s rule.
