The leadership of the Eastern Orta Forces, led by Al-Amin Daoud Mahmoud, paraded its forces, which include thousands of fighters, in the presence of senior leaders from the Sudanese Armed Forces, the Intelligence Service, and Popular Resistance in the eastern Sudan region.<\/p>\n
This comes after the “Movement” completed its military training in (Eritrea), under the supervision and patronage of the Sudanese Army and the Eritrean government.<\/p>\n
The Eastern Orta Forces were deployed to the eastern region areas after a process of technical and military consultations with the Armed Forces, which relied heavily on the Armed Struggle Movements that signed the Juba Peace Agreement. The latter abandoned their position of neutrality to fight against the Rapid Support Forces, making the announcement on the 16th of November 2023.<\/p>\n
According to an informed military source, the Armed Forces Command’s reception of the Eastern Orta Forces signals the beginning of abandoning the Armed Struggle Movements, on which the State spent millions of dollars without making any significant progress, necessitating the introduction of the Eastern Orta Forces formed by the Military Intelligence after the outbreak of the April 15th war, mobilizing fighters from eastern Sudan and supervising the process of arming them as reserve militias to intervene at the appropriate time.<\/p>\n
Strategic experts according to agencies believe that: The army sensed the danger of armed groups calling themselves “Armed Movements” led by Gibril Ibrahim, Minni Arcua Minnawi and Mustafa Tambour, who leaked the minutes of a meeting early last week, discussing the division of power in the country equally with the Army leadership in Port Sudan. These are internal unexpected secrets, however, the Military Intelligence leaked the minutes of the meetings and exposed their plan to the Sudanese people, who in turn expressed their outrage towards the Movements and called for the necessity of expelling them from the eastern and northern regions.<\/p>\n
