Sharfi refuses to comply with Port Sudan de"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Press sources reported that the Sudanese Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Abdelrahman Sharfi, refused to comply with a summon issued by the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Port Sudan. The Ambassador confirmed that he wouldn&#8217;t attend or report except to a government elected by the Sudanese people, stressing that he doesn&#8217;t recognize the current authority that came to power as a result of a military coup, and there is no official comment on this news.<\/p>\n<p>In a related context, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent a letter to the Ambassador dated October 15th, 2024, signed by Anas Al-Tayeb Al-Jilani, Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in which he indicated that the Ambassador&#8217;s failure to attend at the specified time would lead to administrative measures being taken against him. The importance of evaluation was emphasized in this context.<\/p>\n<p>The Foreign Ministry also issued another letter on October 19th, in which it explained that due to the Ambassador&#8217;s failure to respond to the previous letter, it was decided to transfer him to the Prime Ministry as of October 21st, 2024.
