The Bahri Neighborhood Resistance Committees announced, on Thursday, the death of (12) people as a result of an attack carried out by the Sudanese Armed Forces’ drones, on Al-Jili market north of Khartoum Bahri.<\/p>\n
The Bahri Neighborhood Resistance Committees shared in a statement that the massacre comes in the wake of the Sudanese Army\u2019s recent airstrike on the area of Al-Fazarab, north of Al-Jaili last Saturday, which resulted in the death of (10) civilians.<\/p>\n
The statement added that “Before the ink with which the statement condemning Al-Fazarab incident was written had dried, the northern countryside of Bahri city woke up to the sound of a new massacre carried out by the Sudanese Army’s drones on Al-Jaili market, which claimed the lives of (12) citizens from areas adjacent to the city of Al-Jaili.”<\/p>\n
The statement indicated that the markets have become the last resort for citizens to earn a living or shop from, wondering: “Have the lives of innocent civilians become a secondary cost in your war against the Rapid Support Forces to the extent that the victims has been reduced to mere numbers for which no clarification or apology has been issued ?”<\/p>\n
The Bahri Neighborhood Resistance Committees stated: “What is the reason for treating civilians in areas controlled by the other party as if they were enemies as well ? Where is the Army’s professionalism and commitment to the rules of engagement according to religious laws and international conventions ?”<\/p>\n
The statement called on the Sudanese Army to stay its hand from claiming the lives of civilians and to charge itself with issuing a statement about the violations committed in the northern countryside as well as across all the regions that were targeted by the Air Force with aerial attacks.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
