The Rapid Support Forces announced the arrival of its negotiating delegation to “Geneva” in response to the American invitation for ceasefire talks, to stop the war and deliver humanitarian aid.<\/p>\n

The Rapid Support Forces shared in a statement that it is ready for talks to stop the war, end the suffering of the Sudanese people and facilitate humanitarian aid for those affected by the war.<\/p>\n

The statement issued added the following:<\/p>\n

In respect and appreciation for the sincere international and regional efforts and endeavors to address the deteriorating Sudanese crisis as a result of the war ignited by the remnants of the former regime and their elements in the leadership of the Armed Forces.. and in confirmation of our principled commitment to the values of peace and dialogue; We announce the arrival of the Rapid Support Forces delegation to Geneva today, Tuesday, in response to the American invitation aiming for a cessation of hostilities across the country, facilitating the delivery of humanitarian aid, and developing a strong monitoring and verification mechanism to ensure the implementation of any agreement reached.
\nThe arrival of our delegation carries with it the sincere desire and will to put an end to the suffering of our people, and enhances positive engagement with all regional and international initiatives to stop the war and achieve sustainable peace.
\nWe look forward to constructive and fruitful discussions that contribute to facilitating the delivery of humanitarian aid to those affected by the war, in addition to discussing effective mechanisms to improve the protection of civilians.
\nWe hope that the delegation of the other party, the “Armed Forces”, has responded to the invitation with an independent opinion, removed from the dictates of the terrorist Islamic Movement and the agenda of the “remnants of the former regime” in order to discuss the issues of the people looking forward to recovery and peace, to establish and build a new State based on democracy, sustainable peace and equality.<\/p>\n
