Civil and human rights organizations have called for imposing a no-fly zone over Darfur after the Sudanese Army’s warplanes targeted the “Zamzam” Camp for displaced persons in North Darfur state.<\/p>\n

The Third Front, Tamazuj, which signed the Juba Agreement for Peace in Sudan, expressed its condemnation and denunciation of the continued massacres of genocide against the Sudanese people at the hands of the destruction machine that is “the remnants’ aviation”, the latest incident of which was launching an aerial attack on the “Zamzam” Camp for displaced persons in North Darfur state.<\/p>\n

In a statement issued by the Federal Information Secretariat, the Movement confirmed that the blatant and explicit criminal attacks carried out by the hijacked Armed Forces constitute war crimes and utter disregard for international efforts and endeavors to reach a ceasefire agreement that puts an end to the Sudanese people’s suffering.<\/p>\n

The Movement called on the “UN Security Council” to adopt a resolution to protect civilians from the aerial attacks by banning Al-Burhan militia’s aviation from flying over the country’s airspace.<\/p>\n

The Movement also urged the international community as well as the United Nations and international organizations to put forth efforts to implement all decisions regarding the Army\u2019s violations, including the destruction of the country\u2019s infrastructure and bombing safe and heavily populated areas, and to force the Army to commit to implementing the Jeddah Declaration for the Protection of Civilians signed on the 11th of May 2023.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
