This is a series of articles that will reveal to you the reasons behind the Army\u2019s aerial bombardment of Al-Jili Oil Refinery, and their lack of relation to military battles based on evidence and documents, but rather to serve other goals that are far more removed from what you see and hear.<\/p>\n
1-The Mafia:<\/p>\n
Although Sudan possesses significant Oil resources, and South Sudan\u2019s Oil passes through its territory, it continues to suffer from a scarcity of fuel and high prices, due to mismanagement, ongoing internal tensions, and the fuel mafia\u2019s control over its import and distribution operations.
\nAt its head is the director of “Elaf Trading” Company, the Sudanese businessman \u201cMujahid Abdullah Sahl Abdullah\u201d, who by the end of this series you will understand his involvement in financing this war, and his -and a number of Oil wolves- relation to the bombing of Al-Jili Oil Refinery, as well as the manufacturing of the looming fuel crisis with their partners, the Army leaders.<\/p>\n
Computer engineer Mujahid Abdullah, who was claiming to manage the office of the Islamists’ godfather, Hassan Al-Turabi, and benefited from his relations with Asa’ad Karti in his early days. His wealth grew rapidly as he went from renting an apartment in Al-Majaz in Sharjah, to being the owner of more than three villas and more than (20) other apartments, between Dubai and Sharjah within a short period of time.
\nIn addition to a number of companies in Egypt and Sudan, after he convinced “Al-Rajhi” Company to enter the field of Oil imports in Sudan, in addition to its agricultural activity.<\/p>\n
As expected, “Al-Rajhi” Company used one of its companies, namely (Sagaf Pioneer Company) and its CEO, Ibrahim bin Abdul Mohsen Al-Tuwaijri, as well as”Elaf Trading” Company and its owner Mujahid Abdullah, who has relations with the Kuwaiti company “IPG” as well, to import (17) fuel ships with a final cost that amounted to approximately ($340) million Dollars for importing fuel in the period from August to December 2019.<\/p>\n
This deal was made pursuant to payable documentary credits issued by the Central Bank of Sudan in favor of “Al-Rajhi” and “Elaf” but unfortunately, “Al-Rajhi” Company has yet to receive its dues, after Mujahid Abdullah disavowed it, and received his company\u2019s share amounting to more than (20) million dollars.<\/p>\n
In an earlier period, before the revolution, Sahl and Al-Numair failed to pay Murabaha to El-Nilein Bank in Abu Dhabi, but after mortgaging his house in Omdurman and with the help of former Minister of Finance Badr Al-Din Mahmoud -who is related by marriage to Asa’ad Karti. They found what they were seeking at that time in the branch manager, Mr. Osama Atta Jubbara, whose services were terminated by the Committee to Dismantle the June 30, 1989 Regime and Retrieve Public Funds – Sudan.<\/p>\n
On a later date, Mujahid was able to control Al-Nilein Bank in Abu Dhabi, especially during the period of Mr. Fathi Al-Qassim\u2019s management of the bank\u2019s branch in Abu Dhabi until now, where he and Al-Numair were able to exert pressure on the bank\u2019s management and blackmail it, taking advantage of their relationship with Yasser Al-Atta\u2019s office. Hence, they were able to obtain more financing for their own projects, knowing that the bank\u2019s funds are public funds.
