Yasser Al-Atta, Assistant to the Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Army, revealed that Russia requested the establishment of a \u201cMilitary Base\u201d in the Red Sea in exchange for providing weapons and ammunition, and that agreements in this regard will be signed soon.<\/p>\n

Al-Atta shared, in a statement to “Al-Hadath” that: \u201cRussia requested a the establishment of a Military Base on the Red Sea in exchange for supplying us with weapons and ammunition,\u201d and added that Army Commander-in-Chief, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan \u201cWill sign agreements with Russia fairly soon.\u201d<\/p>\n

A Russian delegation had visited Port Sudan in recent days and held meetings with the de facto government in Port Sudan, and agreed to supply the Army with weapons and ammunition in exchange for implementing the Russian base agreement on the Red Sea coast.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
