Gen. Mohammed Hamdan Daglo, stated that he received a phone call yesterday from Volker T\u00fcrk, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, during which they discussed the current situation in Sudan and the conditions facing civilians as well as providing protection for them and delivering humanitarian aid to those in need.<\/p>\n<p>The 1st Lt. Gen. Mohammed Hamdan Daglo, known as \u201cHemedti,\u201d shared on his account on the &#8220;X&#8221; platform that, he assured the Human Rights Commissioner of the respect and commitment of the Rapid Support Forces to their obligations under the rules and principles of the International Law and International Humanitarian Law, taking into account humanitarian needs and protecting civilians, and fully cooperating with the humanitarian organizations working to deliver aid to civilians in every region of Sudan.<\/p>\n<p>Hemedti informed Volker: \u201cWe were, are, and will remain valiant advocates of peace. We did not ignite the war, and we do not want it to continue or expand.
