Yesterday, in the Netherlands, dozens of Sudanese people organized a protest in front of the International Criminal Court “ICC” headquarters \u201cThe Hague\u201d, against the aerial bombardment of civilians in numerous areas of the country.<\/p>\n

The protesters submitted a memorandum to the International Criminal Court, prompting the court to intervene urgently in order to stop the killing of Sudanese people by aerial bombardment.
\nThe protesters raised banners with pictures of the Sudanese Army leaders Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan and his assistant Commander-in-Chief, Yasser Al-Atta, demanding their legal prosecution.<\/p>\n

The protester’s memorandum urged the “ICC” to intervene, to protect civilians from aerial bombardment in the states of Al-Jazeera, Khartoum, and Kordofan.
\nDozens of Sudanese people participated in the protest, demanding that army leaders be held accountable for killing civilians in all states of Sudan.<\/p>\n

Recently, the army’s warplanes have intensified the air strikes launched on a number of areas in Darfur, Kordofan, Al-Jazeera, and Khartoum states, which resulted in the deaths of hundreds of civilians.<\/p>\n

Civil groups in Darfur, \u201cAl-Daein,\u201d called on the international community to intervene to put an end to the aerial bombardment of citizens, while human rights groups stressed the necessity of banning flights over the states of Darfur.
