The ministry pointed out that the number of dengue fever cases in Gedaref has increased to (542) suspected cases and 300 confirmed cases, and Gedaref recorded 197 cases of watery diarrhea, and the infections are limited to the municipality of Gedaref and the Western qalabat locality. Health sources from gedarif told Radio Dabanga that the number of suspected daily cases of dengue fever reaches 60 cases, pointing to five deaths with suspected cases, including a doctor and a nurse, and warned of a scarcity of support bags and poor efficiency of the plasma separation device On the other hand, the wad al-Houry emergency room, in cooperation with the wad al-Houry Youth Initiative in the Western qalabat locality of Gedaref state, implemented a major campaign to combat watery diarrhea and dengue fever after the outbreak of cases and deaths recorded in the area on Saturday.
