Hamdok Sends Messages of Solidarity to Gulf States

The Sudanese Former Prime Minister and head of the Civil Democratic Alliance of Revolutionary Forces (Sumoud), AbdallaHamdok, sent written messages to the foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, expressing his solidarity with them in the face of what he described as ongoing Iranian aggression.
Hamdok warned of the repercussions of any acts of escalation on the security and stability of the region, stressing that continued tension poses a serious threat to regional security and increases the likelihood of instability.
Furthermore, the Former Prime Minister reiterated Sumoud’s support for the Gulf States’ positions calling for an immediate cessation of hostilities. He went on to emphasize the importance of prioritizing diplomatic solutions and dialogue in an effort to preserve regional peace and security.
