Tasis: Our doors are open to UN expert Radwan Nouisir in areas under our control

The Sudan Founding Alliance (Tasis) welcomed the desire of UN expert on the situation of human rights in Sudan, Radhouane Nouicer to communicate with officials in areas under its control.
On Tuesday, the Alliance added in a press statement: “We followed the meeting of the UN expert on the situation of human rights in Sudan, Mr. Radhouane Nouicer, with a group of Sudanese journalists, and his expressed determination to communicate with officials in areas under the control of the Sudan Founding Alliance forces to discuss the human rights situation there.”
“We in the Sudan Founding Alliance welcome this desire and such expressed determination to communicate, in return, we announce that our doors are fully open to communicate with Mr. Radhouane Nouicer, through coordination with all structures of the Peace Government. In addition, we would welcome any visit he chooses to make to the government-controlled regions to assess the human rights situation, and we declare our readiness to facilitate all means and remove any obstacles that might hinder any part of this anticipated visit,” according to the Alliance’s statement.
The Alliance explained that, “Sudan’s 2025 Interim Constitution stipulates in its supra-constitutional principles respect for human rights and international treaties. This text obligates us to allow this cooperation, which we look forward to completing as soon as possible.”
The Founding Alliance affirmed its support for the work of the Human Rights Council’s Fact-Finding Mission, reiterating its full commitment to cooperating with it in order to accomplish its mission, adding, “We will initiate communications with Mr. Radhouane Nouicer to agree on the timing of the visit as soon as possible.”
