Sudanese in UAE welcome decision to exempt residency permit fines

The Sudanese Community in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) expressed its “deep appreciation for the State’s noble stances” following the decision issued by the UAE’s Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Port Security (ICP), to exempt Sudanese citizens from fines related to residency and entry permits.
The Sudanese Community shared in a statement that “The UAE’s stance towards Sudanese citizens residing on its territory embodies the strength and eternal ties between the two brotherly nations.”
Moreover, the Sudanese Community praised “The profound human ties that bind it to the Emirati people,” affirming its “commitment to the values of tolerance, peaceful coexistence, and respect for the State’s laws and regulations.”
According to the statement, the Sudanese Community went on to emphasize its “intention to continue putting forth efforts in order to strengthen the existing ties between the two brotherly nations.”
