Glory be to the martyrs of the December revolution only, Burhan

Salah Shu’aib
We have often discussed the fact that the war was ignited by Al-Kizan -NCP- with the assistance of Al-Burhan, aiming to bury the December revolution. We have tried as much as possible to reinforce the understanding that the war of dignity is merely a bloody charade directed by Ali Karti.
However, no one seems to be listening to our calls amidst the war media machine that has brainwashed much of the public, a handful of intellectuals, and a few revolutionaries.
It is rather clear that Al-Burhan’s latest statements —following his return from Cairo— draw the outlines of his new era in dealing with the Sudanese public. He wishes to initiate a policy of governance to extend his dream in a time of war, whether through the support of the Islamists or by excluding them, as external recommendations may later dictate.
When Al-Burhan says that glory belongs to the rifle, he is sincere in his delusion. It was the rifle that enabled him to derail the revolution through a coup and an ongoing war, however, that can only last for a while.
If the rifle alone had preserved the “glory of dictatorial rule,” he wouldn’t have become president of the Sovereignty Council. He came to this position through a revolution that used only slogans, chants, and mass demonstrations.
Al-Burhan is the worst of those dictatorial authorities around the world. He collaborated with the Islamists with his rifle to destroy Sudan and displace its people around the world. He remains convinced that he will attain glory in such a manner, while he holds power without legitimacy.
His foolishness and lies are evident in his repeated denials of his connection to the Islamists in supporting the coup and igniting the ongoing war. He believes this will convince the Sudanese people of such a blatant lie. However, that will never happen.
Glory be to the December revolution martyrs who defeated the rifles of the Sudanese Army, the National Security Service, the Popular Defense Forces, the Shadow Brigades, along with others who’re familiar with the courage, steadfastness, and resilience of the “tires” revolutionaries. They alone wrote epic stories with their peacefulness and created a revolution that captured the hearts of the world.
Thus, fate brought Al-Burhan to head the Sovereignty Council so that he could fulfill the trust of an elected government. Unfortunately, his excessive selfishness and bloodthirsty spirit led him to rely on the Islamists’ base to become the president of a new regime that would restore their fading authoritarian glory.
When he failed to consolidate his rule, the December revolutionaries took to the streets in mass demonstrations, and he claimed their lives with bullets, in order to break the people’s resolve. Nonetheless, -his- resolve to achieve his goals never wavered, for he quenched his thirst for bloodshed utilizing the rife, and he executed evasive maneuvers, igniting the war, supported by his Islamist base.
Yet, he failed to learn from the devastation that placed his country on the brink of collapse after we witnessed this unprecedented rupture in the fabric of society.
And at the moment, he alone hints at ending the December revolution after deluding himself of his victory in the ongoing war.
This evil spirit, which feeds on the provisions of the rifle and considers it a symbol of glory, must be dealt with seriously by all.
Al-Burhan will end the country’s existence with his corrupt mentality if he continues with this authoritarian delirium and lust for preserving power. That is, even if he -along with the Islamists- goes as far as to shed everyone’s blood.
Allah -alone- is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.
