Al-Tahir Hajar, head of the Sudan Liberation Forces Alliance (SLFA), stated that the evacuation of civilians from El-Fasher and IDPs Camps, carried out by the Sudan Founding Alliance Forces, is a vital step to save lives amidst the deteriorating security and humanitarian situation.
In a post on his Facebook account, Hajar issued an urgent appeal to United Nations Agencies, international and local humanitarian organizations, as well as popular initiatives and emergency rooms, to intensify their efforts to provide urgent assistance to those affected.
The head of (SLFA) shared that safe shelter, food, clean drinking water, medical care, and psychological support ought to be provided to the displaced, especially women, children, and the elderly, as they are the most vulnerable in society. He emphasized their readiness to ensure unhindered access to humanitarian aid.
Hajar expressed appreciation for the efforts put forth by the forces and agencies working on the ground to rescue citizens, calling on the international community to assume its responsibilities regarding this humanitarian crisis, noting that “now is the time for solidarity and joint action to save lives.”
