British draft of a Security Council resolution on Sudan

A draft resolution submitted by Britain to the UN Security Council included (7) main points condemning the violations committed against civilians.
It called for the development of a plan to form a mechanism obligating the two warring parties to comply with the decisions of the Jeddah Agreement signed in May (2023) and to consider forming a regional protection unit in coordination with the African Union as well as other international and regional parties.
