River Nile state records 19 new cases of Cholera
The Ministry of Health in River Nile state announced the registration of new cases of cholera, according to the daily report conducted by the Surveillance and Information Department of the Emergency and Epidemic Control Administration.
According to the report, the state recorded (19) new cases of cholera, with (5) cases in Ad-Dāmar locality, one case in each of Atbara and Shendi localities, and (12) cases were recorded amidst arrivals. The number of hospitalized people in isolation centers reached (31) cases, and there were no deaths.
The cumulative total of infections in the state rose to (5,358) cases, while the cumulative total of mortalities remained at (110) cases, and the cumulative total of recovery rose to (5,217) cases.
