Sudanese National Team overcomes Tanzanian obstacle with a goal by Al-Gharbal

The Sudanese national team achieved a significant victory over the Tanzanian national team on Sunday evening at the Cheikha Ould Boïdiya Stadium in Nouakchott.

The match came within the framework of the first leg of the first-round qualifiers for the African Nations Championship for local players (CHAN).

The tournament is scheduled to be held in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania during the period from February 1st to 28th, 2025, which adds great importance to this confrontation between the two teams.

Player Mohamed Abdel Rahman (Al-Gharbal) managed to score the first goal for the Sudanese National Team in (minute 23) of the first half, which gave the Sudanese team the advantage in the match. The first half ended with the Sudanese team leading, reflecting the strong performance presented by the team in this stage of the qualifiers.

The match ended with the Sudanese team winning by a clean goal, thus achieving the three important points in its journey in the qualifiers. The Sudanese team is scheduled to meet its Tanzanian counterpart in the second leg match on November 4th, as the Sudanese team seeks to strengthen its position in the qualifiers.
