The fall of Sixth Division in El-Fasher is a matter of time

The former Deputy Chief of Staff, Staff Lt. Gen. Munawar Osman Nugud, called on the leadership of the Armed Forces to admit to its failure in transferring the war to Darfur again and will pay dearly for its alliance with the mercenaries of the Armed Movements, noting that the fall of the Sixth Infantry Division (El-Fasher) at the hands of the Rapid Support Forces is only a matter of time, adding, “However, there are those who continue to deceive the Sudanese people with false victories that have no substance on the ground.”

The Deputy Chief of Staff shared in a statement to Agencies: “When we publicly advised the leadership of the Armed Forces to hand over power to the people on August 24, 2022, we, alongside a number of officers, were referred to retirement with pension, whilst others loyal to the (Islamic Movement) were promoted.”

He added that it is well known that anyone who opposes the Muslim Brotherhood’s direction within the Army will be removed, and we are an example of those sacrificed in order to deprive us of the opportunity to reject the return of the National Congress regime to power. If we hadn’t been referred to retirement, our country wouldn’t have been witnessing a war like this.
