The Supreme Central Command of retired officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers in the Armed Forces, Police and Security (Tadamon) has directed an urgent appeal to the Civil Administrations to be careful not to fall into the scheme of arming the tribes and turning the war between the Army and the Rapid Support Forces into a civil war.

The Supreme Central Command called on the Civil Administrations and tribes not to respond to the obsessive and irresponsible calls of the Army Commander-in-Chief, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan.

Sharing in a statement:

From the Supreme Central Command of retired officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers in the Armed Forces, Police and Security (Tadamon)

To the Honorable/ Mayors, Tribal leaders… sheikhs… Mak… Sharati, all Civil leaders, Tribal leaders and components of our beloved country.

To those from whom we seek wisdom and insight,

You have witnessed what our country has come to with the mindless bloody fighting and lives being lost without moral or human restraint, with weapons that have become available to every person without controls or security precautions, which leads our country down a path to civil war that will leave nothing behind.

Therefore, we, your sons and brothers, the Supreme Central Command of retired officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers (Tadamon) appeal to you to direct all your departments, your people, citizens and tribes to preserve the cohesive fabric of Sudanese society and educate them about the dangers of carrying arms, to refrain from responding to the obsessive and irresponsible calls of Lt. Gen. Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan and everyone who is supposed to work to protect the Sudanese citizen and control the possession of weapons, limiting them to the entities entrusted with carrying them by law, in addition to refraining from submitting to the evildoers and those who support them with hysterical, foolish shouting and reckless declarations to arm the tribes, the result of which was the massacres, destruction and devastation that we witnessed in the villages of Al-Jazeera state as well as the rest of the regions.

We, in the Supreme Central Command of retired officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers (Tadamon), pledge and stand with you in one trench to protect our people, the elderly, women and children in all parts of Sudan to prevent the signs of a civil war and work side by side to nip this fabricated strife with its blatant and vile purpose, in the bud.

We bear witness and appreciate your wisdom in staunching the bloodshed, resolving problems and tribal disputes between neighboring tribes in addition to thwarting opportunities for vile and malicious individuals. This is what we have experienced and expected from you and your insightful vision to prevent these atrocities and blazes.

Our country is currently heading towards a precipice and the matter is in your hands, O people of understanding and opinion. We appeal to you to refrain from arming your tribes and to preserve national unity. Nip strife in the bud in accordance with the Almighty Allah’s word: {And fear a trial which will not strike those who have wronged among you exclusively, and know that Allah is severe in penalty}.

Allah Almighty is Truthful

The Supreme Central Command of retired officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers in the Armed Forces, Police and Security
