Keikal
Their goods merely returned to them
Ali Ahmed
The return of the highwayman, the creation of the Military Intelligence and Al-Kizan, Abuagla Keikal, who sought to obstruct the democratic civil transition, to the ranks of his makers sparked a roaring wave of controversy that he didn’t actually deserve. The man simply returned to his natural habitat where he grew up and was raised, and (the lame is for its graze) as our popular proverb says.
When the Army of shame and the battalions of the Islamic Movement failed to achieve any significant military progress in Al-Jazeera and Sennar, and were unable to perform the Eid prayers in Wad Madani or tour Singa, Al-Suki and other areas, they decided to compensate for such heavy losses and clear inability to produce results with a lackluster deal to inflame the enthusiasm of their followers and remnants whose morale had fallen, therefore, they targeted their son Keikal, whom they brought from the gutters of society where he worked as a highwayman and smuggler of goods and people, they gave him the rank of ‘Brigadier General’ and formed a fictitious force that they called “Sudan Shield Forces” specifically for him.
However, as soon as the war of April 15th, 2023 broke out, he surrendered himself to the Rapid Support Forces, accompanied by (30) men and two vehicles. They negotiated with him secretly for several months despite the prestigious position he held in Al-Jazeera, given that he was from the region and in the Rapid Support Forces’ ranks. Then he returned to them by himself, without the (30) men and two vehicles he left with. This is the whole story, quite simply.
Al-Burhan and his Kizan bought back the damaged goods they had manufactured, its merely their goods returned to them.
Keikal’s return to his masters was intended to create an “explosion” and a media uproar, as it was portrayed as a crushing victory and a harsh defeat for the Rapid Support Forces, going as far as describing it as an end to them. As if they had regained Wad Madani, Singa, Al-Suki, or even the villages east of Al-Jazeera! In reality, the opposite was true, as the Rapid Support Forces were able -the moment the bandit’s return to his gang was announced- to take control of (Tamboul), the largest town in (Al-Butana), the man’s birthplace, and inflicted heavy losses on the terrorist Islamist militias in terms of lives and equipment, that amounted to (200) dead, POWs, wounded, and (54) combat vehicles with full equipment and gear, following Al-Kizan’s false and slanderous announcement that claimed the Army had regained control over the area.
The huge uproar and verbal fireworks with which Facebook activists deafened the ears of the listeners weren’t because Keikal is a ‘fat cat’, but rather to cover up a more important event.
The Islamists and Al-Burhan intended to announce this rotten deal one day after they leaked -through a Military Intelligence agent posing as a journalist- minutes of a secret meeting between the leaders of the mercenary Movements allied with the terrorist Islamist militias, during which she revealed how these thieves and bandits were able to blackmail the leadership of the Islamist militias, metaphorically called the Army.
The intention was to announce the return of the bandit to his swarm, although the negotiations with him were settled three months ago, with the leaking of the minutes of the meeting of the leaders of the mercenary Movements, which had been in the possession of the Intelligence Services for about two weeks or more before it was leaked, to tell the gangs of Gibril and Minnawi: “Feel free to do your worst,” We can bring in other mercenaries, and here is Keikal, to blackmail them and pressure them into causing more death, and if they don’t submit, they will fight and betray them.
Moreover, what happened to “Bal bas – Military decisiveness only ” in the case of Abuagla Keikal ? And why did the language of revenge, rivalry, assassination and intolerance disappear when it came to those who “killed, looted, stole and raped free women” ? Or is Keikal an exception to the rule?!
Why did the leaders of the Brotherhood militias show him a level of tolerance and conclude this deal with him? Does this apply to the civil and political forces that they classified as a military arm of the Rapid Support Forces ? Or is it specific to those carrying rifles, Goryunov and Dushkas ?!
They are lying when they call it the “Battle of Dignity”, it is a war to humiliate and degrade the Sudanese people, and there is no greater humiliation and debasement than putting them in this absurd predicament and rubbing their noses in the dirt by bringing the Islamists back to power again.
In conclusion, Al-Burhan got his rotten and corrupt merchandise back, as Keikal returned to his makers after (6) months of negotiations during which he obtained a general amnesty for him and his (30) forces, while retaining his rank of ‘Brigadier General’, on the condition that he be the governor of Al-Jazeera after the end of the war, as he spoke with Al-Burhan personally over the phone and pledged to implement his demands, he asked him to assist in reclaiming the city of Wad Madani by having Keikal withdraw from all the strongholds in the east of the city, but it seems that the Rapid Support Forces discovered the plan and foiled it, which prompted the two parties to announce the deal. That is all that happened.
And peace be upon you.
